Traditional weekend in Vilnius

3 days / 2 nights

Day 1 (Friday). Arrival to Vilnius. Transfer to the hotel. Check inn. Rest time. In the evening dinner at traditional lithuanian restaurant in the Old Town. Overnight in Vilnius. Day 2 (Saturday). Breakfast at the hotel. After it sightseeing tour of Vilnius, well known worldwide for its walk able downtown - listed city of the UNESCO. Excursion to church of St. Peter and Paul - the pearl of Vilnius Baroque, Cathedral Square, Lithuanian Gothic example - church of  St. Anne and Bernardines, the Gate of Down, the Town Hall square, Presidency Palace, Gediminas Tower, walking along ancient narrow streets of the historical part of the city. In the afternoon trip to Trakai (28 km from Vilnius) - ancient capital of Lithuania. Visit to the castle of 15th century, erected on a small island in the lake Galve. For ages it served as a defensive structure and residence of Grand Duke of Lithuania. In the evening is possibility to go to the theater or to visit a night club in Vilnius.  Optional dinner at recommended restaurant. Overnight in Vilnius. Day 3 (Sunday). Breakfast at the hotel.  The rest of the day is free to explore Vilnius on your own way: stop for a cup of coffee in cafes or bars located in romantic courtyards, visit souvenirs shops for amber, linen, locally made handicrafts, which will add to pleasant moments of the visit. Transfer to the airport or railway station.
